Bob’s Motorcycles is looking for an experienced and customer-focused manager to oversee the daily operations of our Parts, Accessories, & Apparel (PAA) Department. This role is responsible for managing inventory, sales, staff, and vendor relationships to ensure the department meets and exceeds performance goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the PAA team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee daily operations of the parts and gear department, including sales, merchandising, and inventory control for 25,000 SKUs.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by assisting customers with parts selection, fitment, and product recommendations.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, process orders, and manage inventory turnover efficiently.
- Collaborate with service and sales departments to support internal needs and cross-departmental communication.
- Monitor department metrics, generate sales reports, and develop strategies for growth.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing and terms.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.
- Foster a team environment focused on continuous improvement, learning, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in retail management or equivalent
- Solid understanding of motorcycle parts, accessories, and riding gear (BMW and Ducati experience a plus)
- Experience in inventory management and systems (powersports or automotive industry a plus)
- Proven success in leading and motivating teams
- Strong sales, negotiation, math, analytical, and computer skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving approach
- Ability to work Saturdays
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $65,000-$75,000 based on experience and qualifications
